News trading at SabioTrade: no clause, two rules that matter

The SabioTrade FAQ has no rule against trading the news. The 5% daily loss limit and the 55% consistency cap still apply to every news trade, and they are what usually ends a news strategy.

What the FAQ covers

We read both the English and German FAQ on 2 October 2026. Neither restricts trading around releases. The Traderoom includes a newsfeed widget, a forex calendar and an earnings calendar, so the advertiser expects you to watch the news.

Where news trades fail

  • Spreads widen and prices gap at a release. A stop can fill far beyond its level and eat the 5% daily allowance in one move.
  • A big win on a release can push one trade above 55% of total profit. The evaluation then needs more trading before it passes.
  • Placing pending orders on both sides of a release and cancelling the loser can look like hedging, which is prohibited.

Compared with FTMO

FTMO restricts trading around selected news on its Standard funded accounts, not during the evaluation. SabioTrade publishes no such window. More: daily loss limit, prohibited strategies.
